Building Your Self-esteem
Essentially, self-esteem both starts and ends with your relationship with yourself. In order to boost and build up your self-esteem, it is important to recognise how you feel about yourself and learn to encourage yourself. A good way of starting on this journey of self-discovery and self-encouragement is to write a love letter to yourself. Watch the video opposite to see how powerful a technique this is.
The most important step in building self-esteem is simply to take action. Work on something and get it done. Even the smallest of accomplishments can make a big difference to your confidence. Perhaps your lack of confidence or self-esteem are holding you back from starting. Start and your confidence and self-esteem will grow along the way. Sitting at home, focusing on your shortcomings is not going to improve the situation. It will only make things worse. Change only happens when you take action.
Be brave. Take a step of faith. Your future is unwritten. Despite your history, journey and results to date, your future is still unwritten. You can do better. You can become more. Watch the video opposite, then plan some action to take and start to take that action.
